What is Apostille
An apostille is required when presenting public documents abroad to establish their validity. It eliminates the need for further verification or certification in the destination country, saving time, effort, and potential complications. Is Online Notarization legal?Remote Online Notarization (RON) & Remote Notarization of tangible documents became legal in Virginia in 2012. Montana followed by allowing Montana notaries to perform RON and Remote Notarization transactions beginning October 1, 2019.
-
What if my documents require physical (wet) signatures?Easy! We do a Remote Notarization of tangible documents. This can only be done when the notarial act is an acknowledgment. So if I’m going to be taking an acknowledgment from you, you wet-sign your document either in blue or black. It’s best to check with the document issuer for the ink choice. Then you ship the document to me and we meet via audio-video technology. I then wet-sign and stamp your document and ship to where I’m instructed.

What are the acceptable forms of ID that I can use?I can help you with a US or non-US ID! A driver license, ID card, or passport is great! If you do not have a government issued ID, then you can use a credible witness to vouch for your identity.
-
How does online notarization work? You upload your document. You will do ID proofing from a link I send you. Then we meet online via audio-video technology from another link I send you. And we sign your documents electronically. Finally, you receive a pdf of the completed document along with an audit trail of the transaction.
-
What if my document requires a witness?Someone you know may join us online to sign as a witness, or I have a pool of notaries readily available to witness on your behalf.
-
What if I have additional signers? You can have up to 10 signers at one time in session with us. If all signers cannot meet at the same time, we can pivot around that, too. No worries, we will get your document completed one way or another!
-
What types of documents do you notarize?I notarize all documents my state law allows. Whether they are from a law office, mortgage company, medical, travel, real estate, school, construction, vehicle, ecommerce, and more, if you run the document by me first, I’ll let you know if I cannot do it and try and find who can.
-
Who accepts Online Notarizations? Most public and private institutions accept RON documents. It’s always best to check with them to be sure.
-
How do I get an Apostille?Once I have notarized your document, I submit it to my Secretary of State to apostille it. I submit a shipping label with it for wherever you want the document to go once certified.
